International Dot Day

 Join Betty Wheeler CJA as we celebrate International Dot Day!

Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' book, The Dot, this day is all about making your mark and seeing where it takes you. The story follows a girl named Vashti, who, with the help of a caring teacher, discovers her creative potential after she is encouraged to just "make a mark." Her single dot on a blank page is the start of an incredible journey of self-discovery.

Over the past two weeks, Mrs. Beffa (our amazing art teachers) has been working with her students to read the book and create a collaborative "dot" display for the hallway.

You can show your support on International Dot Day by:

• Wearing polka dots!

• Doing a dot-related activity.

• Playing a game of "I Spy a Dot."

• Getting creative and celebrating in your own way!
